Toronto's largest hotel has the feel of a mini-city, with nearly 1600 rooms, a gift shop, florist, 2 restaurants and 3 bars. Hovering near the lower end of the city's upmarket hotel range, the Delta Chelsea shows its age in the dated wood panelling and brassy lobby fixtures, but remains one of Toronto's most reliable sleeps, especially for families with small children.

Parents may appreciate the apartment-style suites stocked with bubble bath, cookie jars, bunk beds and alphabet fridge magnets, as well as the babysitting and camp services. Kids will love the video games room, craft centre and the water slides in the family pool. A continental breakfast buffet is available at the Deck 27 skyline lounge, where the panoramic view west and south from the 27th floor windows provides a perfect setting for your morning coffee. At the Market Garden, mill through the various stalls specialising in pizzas, soups, stir-fries, salads and sandwiches. Those who prefer to spend a little more for comfort congregate on the Signature Club floors where rooms have 27" flat screen TVs, high speed Internet and free Italian coffee, evening hors d'oeuvres and honor bar service in the lounge.
