For a hotel that lives up to the glitz of nearby Yorkville, many flock to the Intercontinental opposite the striking Royal Conservatory of Music. Round-the-clock personal service means it's never too late to use the fitness facilities and the business centre, to request a suit dry-cleaned, or to order a meal.

The indoor pool is bathed in natural light flooding in from the glass roof. The adjoining sundeck and fitness room are conveniently accessible by room key. The rooms are adorned with beautiful bay windows that open, roomy loveseats, marble baths and all the usual amenities of a five-star hotel: cable TV, climate control, safe, plush bath robes, coffee maker and complimentary newspapers. Signatures Restaurant has a continental International menu, including seared seabass with tempura and duck with orange-hoisin sauce. In summer check out the Skylounge, an ultra-chic outdoor tapas restaurant with sleek leather couches and attractive tables fashioned from Brazilian wood. Pets can stay for an extra 50.00 per night, but be careful of size limitations.
