Smack in the middle of Las Cañitas' nightlife lies this elegant, Zen-like boutique hotel. There are four classes of minimalist rooms, with most being good-sized and all beautifully contemporary. Best of all is the rooftop terrace, with relaxing lounges and luxurious Jacuzzi.

Simple elegance with a touch of minimalist décor is key at this exclusive yet family-run place. You'll have to be buzzed into reception, which keeps the riff raff down to zero. A lovely breakfast room lies just beyond the lobby area, while upstairs are just 11 beautiful, airy rooms with simple lines and modern designs. The icing on the cake has to be the wood-decked rooftop terrace, complete with teak lounge chairs, bamboo planters and wonderful swirling Jacuzzi. Another plus: There's no smoking in the whole hotel. Service is very attentive and the security excellent. This is an great place to come and relax in style, but still be within tripping distance of two dozen restaurants and bars.
