This wedge-shaped high-rise sits tucked into a palm-lined back street of swishy Las Condes. As an apart-hotel it is a comfortable base for long-term visitors or those who prefer eating in. It's also close to a slew of bars and restaurants, although most of them are part of Santiago's 'gringolandia' and include the typical American chains.To properly enjoy La Sebastiana, you have to be a fan of wicker. That said, these are smart and secure little apartments. The decor won't wow you but some offer more contemporary designs than others. All are in good order and offer amenities such as cable TV, DVD and internet connections. Guests can count on a 24-hour bilingual reception, daily maid service and room service breakfast at no extra charge. In summer you can go for dips in the petite rooftop swimming pool.
