Address: Irish financial services center , Dublin 1, Ireland Show on map
This swanky hotel, in the heart of the Irish Financial Services Centre has earned nothing but praise for its elegance and sophistication. Almost exclusively geared to the business set but proving to be quite a hit with regular visitors, its rooms are quite beautiful, with contemporary light oak furnishings and a relaxing blue and taupe colour scheme. The Clarion makes a big deal of its contemporary style, vaguely influenced by Eastern principles and aimed at creating a calming environment for an easier sleep. To this end, the smooth furnishings and gentle colour scheme is complemented by soft Egyptian cotton sheets on the very comfortable beds. And, in the unlikely event that you can't sleep (after all, they've done everything here but actually sing you a bedtime lullaby), you can amuse yourself trying to beat your own high scores on the in-room Sony Playstation. Downstairs, the gently-does-it theme is pursued throughout the Kudos bar and Sinergie restaurant, which does a line in contemporary Asian fusion cuisine. True relaxation can be found at the Sanovitae health club, either in the fully equipped workout room or the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi.
