Popular with business travellers, the Sieber is a small four-star hotel with 13 rooms and seven suites, set in a recently renovated 19th-century apartment building. Stylish decor and attentive service are accompanied by thoughtful little touches, such as bathrobes and fresh flowers.

Peaceful sleep and discreet service are assured at this luxury establishment set on a quiet, unassuming street in vibrant Vinohrady. The building dates from 1889, and has been restored to its former grandeur after suffering years of neglect under the communist regime. The rooms have been decorated in restful, neutral tones (lots of cream and light wood) - it's all very tasteful and understated. The suites come with big comfy sofas and the bathrooms, complete with tubs and showers, are shiny enough for the most demanding of guests. Service can't be faulted, and staff are courteous and very helpful. The hotel restaurant serves up high quality Czech cuisine, but breakfast costs extra.
