With corridors painted with Matisse murals and guest room walls and ceilings also adorned with murals, the spiffy little Hôtel du Centre offers fab value for money.The majority of the Hôtel du Centre's 26 brightly coloured rooms have their own squeaky-clean, floor-to-ceiling tiled bathrooms, but there are also four rooms with a washbasin only and shared shower and toilets, which are an absolute steal for one or two people. The cosy rooms are packed with amenities like soundproofing, telephone, multi-language satellite TV and fridge; and there's a lift to whisk you up and down. Free wi-fi's up and running in some rooms, and will be available in all imminently. And, the hotel's has its own Niçois- and Italian-influenced restaurant next door. It's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day.
