The main reason to come to Hôtel Les Cigales, a cheerful little establishment whose name translates to 'the cidadas', is the lovely rooftop sundeck for chilled sundowners and breakfast sunny side up.

A little tatty but bright, chirpy and clean, the Hôtel Les Cigales' 19 air-conditioned rooms are accented with red and gold brocades. Mosaic bathrooms have backlit mirrors, bathtubs, and room 6 has a barrier-free shower for wheelchairs, though no toilet rails. There is a fully equipped wheelchair toilet adjoining the reception area on the ground floor. Rooms 7 and 8 have twin sets of French doors opening to Juliet balconies, but anyone can access the outdoor terrace/sundeck with umbrellas shading timber outdoor furniture (the deck's locked in winter, but ask for a key). In shades of rose, the breakfast room is tucked away in the basement, where the continental buffet is bountiful.
