How to get there

• From Cape Town International Airport (CPT):
  Distance to Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is 20 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
  
  Getting there.. Taxis are available from the airport's authorised taxi company, Touch Down. Travellers are advised not to use unauthorised taxis. The fare to the city centre is approximately 200 ZAR. Door- to-door shuttle buses are available, and can be pre- booked at arrivals. Prices are all subject to change.
  
  Getting around. The Protea Hotel Victoria Junction is on the corner of Somerset and Ebenezer roads. Trains and buses run throughout the city, but driving is the best way to get around. Many attractions are clearly signposted, however, parking can be difficult. Taxis are available but can be expensive. There is car parking at the hotel (surcharge).
  
  Driving directions. From Cape Town International Airport:
  Take the N2 and follow the signs into Cape Town.
  Take the Waterfront turn-off until you reach Coen Steytler Avenue.
  At the third set of traffic lights, turn right into Somerset Road.
  At the second set of traffic lights, turn right for the hotel.
