This mid-sized gay hotel - known for its large, sociable hot tub - is smack dab in the middle of the action. The 55 bright units are nothing special, but they do have well-equipped bathrooms with big, luxurious showers and balconies, many with excellent views.

The reason to choose this option over other gay accommodations is the friendly, hands-on staff and the collegial atmosphere. Sure, the place needs updating and it definitely needs new decor. The rooms are decent if dowdy, but the mattresses are firm and the neighborhood is so happening that you'll probably only visit your room for brief interludes before devouring the next great thing. The suites include kitchenettes and a large living room with dining area - but you may find dining in the lobby restaurant is a lot more fun.
