Beyond the 1970s-style lobby is quite a smart international hotel that was given a thorough once-over in 2002. The standard doubles are a little on the smallish side, but all the singles have queen-sized beds and there is wi-fi throughout the building. In sharp contrast to the one-size-fits-all theory, Cityhotel has singles, doubles and triples in various degrees of size and comfort. Every room comes with a queen-size bed, but it's all about the space around it. The cheaper rooms come with a cramped bathroom and a shower unit barely large enough to move your elbows in. If you want a bit of space, go for the better rooms. The suites (aka business rooms) are like tiny apartments, complete with a mini-kitchen and an integrated desk area in the separate living room. There is one room for disabled guests. Overall, the feel is 'modern European', which really means that the style is inoffensive and bland.
