It's not much to look at from outside, but this is a very good hotel with 154 comfortable rooms, all with the usual mod cons includings ISDN lines and cable TV. Park Tivoli is just round the corner.

The lesson here is don't judge a good hotel by its drab, socialist-era exterior. Behind the 1970s apartment-block facade are a collection of pastel-coloured rooms with all the comfort of a modern hotel in a fancy alpine resort. The price includes breakfast, but there are a couple of negatives, the most glaring of which is its remote location. It's easy enough to get here (public transportation in Ljubljana is excellent) but you're still removed from the action in a quiet residential neighbourhood with little to offer save the nearby presence of Park Tivoli. Even then you're closer to the wilder part of the park rather than the landscaped gardens. The other black mark against it are the room sizes, which tend to be on the smaller side: the singles are positively cramped, as are the modern bathrooms.
