A mishmash decorative style won't get in the way of a comfortable stay at the Hostal Verona - you'll be treated to excellent beds, a fully stocked mini-bar, air-con and breakfast. Just remember to make reservations for mid-week stays.

Looking at it from the outside, you'd think the Hostal Verona would be a smart minimalist hotel with its straight lines and bold, flat colours. But inside, it's a combination of nouveau colonial style (lots of wrought iron and bright colours) and country cottage (floral patterns, dried flower bouquets, and wood trinkets). Regardless of its multiple personalities, the rooms are spotless, if a bit cramped. Breakfast is served in a small dining area with a view of two well-tended flower gardens.
