Address: 25 de mayo 240, Centro , Cordoba 5000, Argentina
Located right on the main pedestrian thoroughfare, the Victoria has one of the best locations in central Córdoba. Rooms at the front have small balconies and there's very little street noise. The best place to be here is up on the 4th floor - that way you get the views out over the rooftops, including one lovely tiled church steeple. Also up here, rooms back onto an open patio allowing a cross breeze that can be very welcome during the heatwaves that sometimes hit Córdoba. Rooms are small, but comfortable, with a couple of sticks of furniture and good firm beds. Bathrooms are excellent - spacious and carefully renovated with modern fittings. The downstairs breakfast area/bar is a welcoming space and while the coffee could be better, it's still a great place to start your day.

Simply walk out the front door and you're smack in the middle of the pedestrianized downtown. Wander around and listen to the street musicians, have a giant scoop of ice cream and stop for a coffee at one of the many cafes. Head north on San Martín for a more budget-minded shopping experience. End your walk at the Mercado Norte (cnr Rivadavia & Oncativo), Córdoba's best indoor food market.
