Run by a backpacker couple (he's Singaporean, she's Japanese), this exceptional hostel is one of the most welcoming you'll find. A stone's throw from the serene Wenshu Temple, the hostel is in a traditional-style building over 100 years old. The rambling halls seem to go on forever and rooms exist in every kind of amenity combination you can imagine (with or without air-con, bathrooms, wi-fi etc). Lovely touches are everywhere, such as lockable boxes in the dorms or TV sets with DVD players in some of the double rooms. There's a lovely pond-side bar and the staff are phenomenal. Backpackers will love this place.
