Address: Summit area , Huang shân , North-east asia
The four-star Beihai comes with professional service, money exchange, a mobile-phone charging point, café selling hot dogs, a small and unexciting bar and 20% discounts during the week. Larger doubles with bathroom have older fittings than the smaller, better fitted-out doubles (same price). Simple dorms are in the block down the side by the Friendship Store; triples are grotty, but cheap (with common shower/toilet).There is a bar and restaurant that serve international and Chinese food. The restaurant is bright and brash but serves a good, spicy and tender yúxiang qiézi (fish-flavour aubergine; ????) and flavoursome ròumò dòufu (tofu and minced meat; ????). Toast your heady ascent to the summit with a Yúnhai (Sea of Clouds; ??) or a Yíngkèsong (Welcoming Guest Pine; ???) beer.
