Address: Via tommaso grossi 1 , Milan 20121, Italy Show on map
Only steps from the Duomo, this young Park Hyatt (the first Hyatt in Milan) is perhaps the best example of the Hyatt breed, with a sleek design and impeccable service. While it's not the hotel's fault that the nearby streets have resembled a building site for at least 12 months, it is a little disconcerting. But all apprehension disappears once you're inside this lustrous property. The interior architecture is designed by well-respected American, Ed Tuttle, whose signature clean lines are a perfect fit for Milan. With only 117 rooms, it's an intimate property, with spacious rooms and glorious bathrooms that are easily the best in Milan. The standard rooms are fine, but it's worth the extra cash for a Deluxe room as they're more spacious. La Cupola lounge is great to hang out in, The Park restaurant should definitely be pencilled into your diary for dinner (there's a nice little bar there as well), and there's a spa and gym open only to hotel guests.
